Ben Cardin has aired his disappointment over reports that his now-former staffer had taken part in filmed sexual activities in a Senate hearing room.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Dan Newhouse &#8211; a Republican from Washington who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump &#8211; confirmed reports Wednesday that a similar investigation into sex acts in a Congressional office took place in June 2022.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Newhouse said that they found &#8216;no conclusive evidence&#8217; of what they called &#8216;purported, unbecoming behavior&#8217; involving a staffer after a Snapchat story made by an account known as &#8216;Adam J&#8217; with the handle &#8216;Anjackson2019&#8217; circulated on the app last year.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Dan Newhouse &#8211; a Republican from Washington State who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump &#8211; confirmed reports Wednesday that an into sex acts in a Congressional office took place in June 2022<\/p>\n<p>One of the 2022 videos allegedly showed a man pleasuring himself in a House office building,\u00a0identifiable by standard Capitol House furniture and carpeting, as well as a branded mousepad\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A second video shows two men engaged in sexual activity in another office setting. Their faces are not visible.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The anonymous male staffer denied having taken part in any illicit recordings,  <a href=\"https:\/\/saddamhossen.com\/\">situs porno<\/a> according to Semafor.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Newhouse&#8217;s employee said the investigation ended within a month, with Newhouse allegedly telling him there was &#8216;no evidence to the allegation.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><u>The staffer left Newhouse&#8217;s office in fall of that year to work outside of Washington, DC.\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As soon as the office was alerted, we immediately contacted the appropriate House entities to conduct an independent investigation,&#8217; the spokesperson for Newhouse said.<\/p>\n<p>The most recent sex video\u00a0depicts a graphic sex act between two men, and was reportedly leaked after being &#8216;shared in a private group for gay men in politics.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>While not confirmed to be one of the men, Maese-Czeropski\u00a0was publicly connected to the congressional hearing clip, and is no longer employed by the Senate. I&#8217;m concerned about our staff and the way that they feel about this and the Senate staff.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The scandal, meanwhile, first erupted Friday, when the Caller published the clip with the blurred-out faces of the two men having sex in room 216.<\/p>\n<p>The location, steeped in history, has played home to several high-profile hearings\u00a0 over the years.<\/p>\n<p>It was the site of a series of\u00a0Supreme Court\u00a0Justice confirmation hearings that helped shape America&#8217;s legal landscape, and was the venue for the 9\/11 Commission.<\/p>\n<p>But last week, it was the setting for something much less stately &#8211; a sordid sex scene filmed from one of the participants&#8217; POV.<\/p>\n<p>The clip quickly made it rounds on social media, and people quickly began to peg Czeropski &#8211; who Cardin on Monday indicated has yet to apologize &#8211; as responsible. Those claims, Capitol cops have since confirmed, are still unproven.<\/p>\n<p>Hours later, on Friday night, Maese-Czeropski put up a post to his now-private LinkedIn stating that while he had shown &#8216;poor judgement&#8217;, he &#8216;would never disrespect my workplace.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Hours later, on Friday night, Maese-Czeropski put up a post to his now-private LinkedIn stating that while he had shown &#8216;poor judgement&#8217;, he &#8216;would never disrespect my workplace.&#8217; He was fired on Friday<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda,&#8217; the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated and I will be exploring what legal options are available to me in these matters.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Contacted by DailyMail.com Saturday morning, Maese-Czeropski&#8217;s mother, Magdalena Rivera Maese, said her son had been left distraught by the scandal.<\/p>\n<p><b>&#8216;You don&#8217;t want to know how he&#8217;s doing,&#8217;\u00a0Maese said in an interview.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In a statement Monday evening, Capitol Police told DailyMail.com it is &#8216;still investigating&#8217; the sex tape, and that there was &#8216;nothing new to report&#8217; at this point in their investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Hours before the Caller broke the story, the Spectator reported an unnamed Cardin staffer had posted a social media photo of himself nude in a Hart hearing room.<\/p>\n<p><b>Those reports have not been substantiated, as Capitol cops continue to investigate.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cardin&#8217;s office, meanwhile, on Friday issued the following statement, citing a rash of reports from &#8216;right-wing&#8217; outlets.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As this is a personnel matter and under review, we will not be commenting further at this time,&#8217; the office said.<\/p>\n<p>Cardin, meanwhile, announced his retirement at the end of his current term in May.
