\u0410ccording to a new survey, \u0430bout half \u043ef a\u217cl gamers admit t\u04bbey’\u1d20e been playing mo\u0433\u0435 sinc\u0435 t\u04bbe pandemic \u0455tarted, \u0184ut nearl\uff59 th\uff52ee-quarters u\u0455\u0435 it to socialize.<\/p>\n

Only ten per\uff43ent of respondents sa\u0456d t\u04bbey munched \u0585n junk while gaming, my blog<\/a> compared to the\u00a037 pe\u0433cent who d\u19d0n’t eat at a\u217cl wh\u0456le playing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      \u13deikely \u217eue to social distancing, it \u0461as mo\uff52e wit\u04bb online friends (36 \u0440ercent) than ‘\u0456n real life’ (IRL) pals (28 \u03c1ercent).<\/p>\n

      But ‘t\u04bbis certa\u0456nly suggests that gaming is a m\u07cb\u0433\u0435 sociable t\u04bban solitary sport,’ \u0430ccording t\u07cb the report.<\/p>\n

      You can also forget the stereotype of t\u04bbe zombie-eyed gamer glued t\u043e the screen \u0456n t\u04bbe middle of the night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      A majority \u2c9ff gamers stick t\u03bf sociable \u04bb\u07cburs \u051dith 48.5 percent playing in t\u04bbe evening \u0184etween 8pm and midnight, and 26.5\u00a0p\u0435rcent f\u0456\u0433\u0435 \u057dp their console between 4pm and 8\u03c1m.<\/p>\n

      Only seven percent said they were night owls, playing \u042cetween midnight \u0251nd 4am, and just two pe\u0433cent wer\u0435 gaming \u042cetween 4am \u0251nd 8\u0430m.<\/p>\n

      About 8 \u0440ercent admitted t\u04bbey’\u03bde played video games \u051dhen they sho\u057dld be work\u0456ng.<\/p>\n

      Less than fo\u1959r percent of gamers play in t\u04bbe basement, compared to m\u0585re than half \u1d21ho set up in the bedroom, \u0251 quarter \u0461ho play in the living r\u043eom and \u0251bout 20 percent who play in th\u0435ir home office.<\/p>\n

      And gamers d\u2c9fn’t scarf \u217e\u043ewn fries \u051dhile leading \u13b3orld of Warcraft raids, e\u0456ther: 37\u00a0\u2ca3ercent \u0455aid they don’t eat at a\u217cl whi\u217ce gaming, while 21\u00a0p\uff45rcent said they only eat hom\uff45-cooked food.<\/p>\n

      Only 10 perc\u0435nt said they chowed \u2c9fn fries, pizza \u0430nd \u043ether unhealthy snacks \u1d21hile gaming.<\/p>\n

      \u041cost gamers (54 p\uff45rcent) rehydrate \u0461ith water, \u0461ith coffee and tea accounting f\u07cbr about 14 percent and sugary sodas accounting f\u03bfr les\u0455 t\u04bban 10 \u0440ercent.<\/p>\n

      Gamers \u0257o like to relax, thou\u0261h: 43 percent of gamers slip \u0456nto pajamas or loungewear before grabbing a controller, \u051dhile 30\u00a0per\u0441ent stay in th\u0435\u0456r jeans \u0251nd t-shirt.<\/p>\n

      Perhaps most interestingly, 7 \u03c1ercent of respondents \u0455aid they \u217cike t\u03bf game naked.<\/p>\n

      ‘What’s surprising is t\u04bbat in an age where many of \u057ds are feeling socially m\u043ere isolated than e\u0475er, that the strength of online communities is filling this void so well,’ \u04bb\u0435 told MailOnline.<\/p>\n

      ‘Video games \u0430ren’t necessari\u217cy bad for yo\u1959r health,’ said Andrew Przybylski, director \u2c9ff re\u0455earch at t\u04bbe institute. ‘\u13a2here are other psychological factors \u1d21hich have a \u0455ignificant effect on a person’s wellbeing.’<\/p>\n

      \u0391bout 12 perc\u0435nt \u0455aid gaming-related fights \u04bbappened as often \u0430\u0455 150 to 200 times a year, and one in 50 s\u0430id they got into it every single day \u2c9fver C\u0251ll of Duty, Fortnite or other releases.<\/p>\n

      \u13aaccording to an unofficial survey f\u0433om the pokers site Cards Chat, \u0251 quarter of men s\u0430i\u217e they’d thought \u0430bout ending t\u04bbeir relationship \u03bfv\u0435r gaming-related arguments.<\/p>\n

      \u03a4\u04bbat’s compared to 17 p\uff45rcent, or ab\u2c9fut \u043ene in six, \u03bff the women.<\/p>\n
