Any suggestion\u00a0Donald Trump’s relationship with\u00a0Jeffrey Epstein\u00a0was inappropriate been ‘thoroughly debunked’ by the bombshell unsealing of the first batch of new evidence, his campaign said Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The former president is mentioned in\u00a0the explosive 1,000\u00a0 pages of documents released Wednesday in a defamation case brought by accuser Virginia Giuffre against his madam Ghislaine Maxwell.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But even though his name appears, the material does not implicate him in the pedophile financier’s debauchery or crimes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Trump and Epstein were friends in the 1990s. He flew on Epstein’s plane, dubbed the ‘Lolita Express’ at least four times and called him a ‘terrific guy’\u00a0<\/p>\n
A newly unsealed deposition by Johanna Sjoberg, an Epstein ‘victim’ who was allegedly recruited to work as a massage therapist,\u00a0recalled meeting Trump during her visit to Atlantic City.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0She discussed a visit to a Trump Atlantic City Casino<\/a> after a storm kept Epstein’s plane from landing in New York. It was her first time aboard Epstein’s plane.<\/p>\n But her interview contains no suggestion Trump did anything inappropriate or visited Epstein’s private island, Little Saint James, where numerous orgies were alleged to have taken place.<\/p>\n Sjoberg even states that she did not give Trump a massage when asked.<\/b><\/p>\n ‘We left from Palm Beach and landed in Atlantic City for a few hours because there was a storm in New York, and then got back on the plane a 10 few hours later and landed in Teterboro,’ said Sjoberg, 42.<\/p>\n ‘Jeffrey said, ‘Great, we’ll call up Trump and we’ll go to’\u2014I don’t recall the name of the casino, but\u2014’we’ll go to the casino<\/a>,’ Sjoberg said in her deposition, taken at a lawyer’s office in\u00a0Florida in 2016. She spoke amid\u00a0Virginia Giuffre’s suit against Epstein’s jailed accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving time for sex trafficking.<\/p>\n She said Giuffre (formerly Roberts), who was traveling with them, couldn’t go into the Casino<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n ‘She was underage. I did not know anything about how old you had to be to gamble legally. I just knew she could not get in because of an ID issue. So she and I did not gamble.’<\/p>\n The ended up walking around the casino because Giuffre either ‘didn’t have an ID or she was too young.’\u00a0<\/p>\n She was also asked if she ever massaged Trump, and responded, ‘No.’\u00a0<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n In came in the same deposition where the alleged victim claimed Prince Andrew groped her breast with a puppet.<\/p>\n Trump spokesman Steven Cheung issued only a brief comment to Newsweek\u00a0following the release, and the Trump camp did respond to requests for further comment from DailyMail.com.\u00a0<\/p>\n
